In the beginning of the summer, 2022, I began re-acquainting myself with WordPress after a number of years away. The last time I worked with it significantly was for a site I built for Mass General Hospital Cancer Center in 2013-15.
Since then, I’ve been swimming in WordPress’s massive ecosystem and finding ways to get my head around how to develop with it.
It’s now my primary platform for web development both at work and for personal projects.
Current Projects
I’ve been particularly interested in the direction the platform is going since the introduction of Gutenberg and the emergence of full-site editing and block based themes in the last year.
