It was a pleasure to share some of our experiences with AI at BC at the Catholic Higher Education and AI conference, October 18-20, 2024, at the University of Portland.
I appreciated the rich ethical frame this gathering gave to the conversation around AI, and it was great to meet new people from around the country, including someone from back home – new Boston College colleague Philip Larrey.
I contributed a lighting talk (“Helping chatbots find their purpose: Empowering faculty to decide AI’s role in education”) and participated in a round table session with 5 other administrators from other universities. View the entire conference schedule.
